The Curie Cure
You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals.
— Marie Curie
Our sixth broadside was inspired by nationwide efforts to obtain equal, affordable health care for all Americans—years before the passage of the Affordable Care Act. The illustration is inspired by antique laboratory equipment, molecular diagrams and the design of the Periodic Table of the Elements. To symbolize Marie Curie’s revolutionary work with radioactivity, “The Curie Cure” is printed in glowing, atomic colors.
